A Parent. A Patriot. Not a Politician.
It was not my plan to run for office. But as a mother, a conservative, and a Christian, I have become increasingly concerned for our country.
I went to the school board meetings. I wrote emails, made phone calls, and submitted FOIA requests. Nothing worked. My calls went unanswered, my requests came back with astronomical amounts, and my microphone was turned off.
Government is supposed to work for us. Not the other way around. And it has become very evident that many of our politicians have forgotten that fact.
After talking with my family, we all decided that it was the right time for me to stand up and fight for our kids, our values, and our community.
